About the programme
Chinese is spoken by more than 14.4% of the world's population; China is a major trading partner, and Vietnam welcomes millions of Chinese visitors every year. The programme follows an applied-language model, focusing on business Chinese, translation theory, and translation and interpreting skills.
Students can join the 3+1 programme with Guangxi Minzu University (China): three years at Danang Architecture University and one year in Guangxi, with no Chinese certificate required at entry.
Learning outcomes: Chinese proficiency sufficient for professional translation and interpreting, a second foreign language (English or Japanese) and the IT standard. Specific levels follow the current curriculum.
